NEW WORKER CHRISTMAS BREAK

 The New Worker is now taking its traditional fort-nightly winter break.

The last issue of the Old Year was published on Friday 20th December 2024 

The first issue of the New Year will come out on Friday 10th January 2025.

New Worker delays November 2024

 Our supplier was unable to deliver our new stock of paper this week due to road closures on Friday 22 November. This means that the New Worker will not be dispatched until Monday as they do not deliver on weekends. The Electronic New Worker will however be emailed. as usual, over the weekend,

NEW WORKER DELAYS

Saturday 7th September 2024

A key comrade, a volunteer who operates the computer program that lays-out the paper, has been injured in a fall and is now in hospital. Fortunately our veteran printer has come out of retirement to lend a hand and though we've lost a day’s production the New Worker is being printed this weekend and will arrive on your doorstep by Tuesday.

The Electronic New Worker will be emailed later today.

New Worker Summer Break

 Our volunteers are taking their well-earned summer rest immediately after the general election. The last issue of the New Worker before our two week summer break will be published on Friday 5th July. We will be back on Friday 26th July.

Postal Delays

 The Electronic New Worker was emailed normally on Friday. But due to a computer malfunction the printing of the New Worker was delayed by a day this week. The New Worker was dispatched on Saturday 13 April and should arrive on Monday. Please contact the Centre by phone or text if you have not received your copy by Tuesday.

Easter 2024

 The Easter edition of the New Worker was printed and dispatched on Thursday 28th March which means most, if not all of our subscribers, will get their copy on Saturday.

Delays: Edition 2244 Friday 8 March 2024

 The dispatch of the New Worker was delayed this week due to a glitch on our lay-out programme. This was resolved Sunday evening and, barring any further upsets, edition 2244 will be posted on Monday. In the meantime we will email the electronic edition to existing subscribers on request.
